In 1954, the Ichabod Club was established within Washburn University to be the fund-raising arm for the Washburn athletics department. The Ichabod Club consolidates the support efforts of the WU boosters, WU Letterwinners, the athletics department and the University.

The mission of the Ichabod Club is simply to provide the scholarship assistance to young men and women student-athletes (tuition, fees, books, room and board) unless the contribution is restricted to a specific sport or some other specific purpose. All gifts to the Ichabod Club are tax deductible to the full extent allowable by law.

Opportunities for alumni, friends, parents and boosters to become involved with the Ichabod Club program are available through pregame parties, golf tournaments, the Ichabod Club newsletter, monthly luncheons, the kick-off party and other special events. As a member, you are eligible for certain benefits which are located here.
