The Washburn Ichabods (11-9, 5-8 MIAA) will wrap up a brief two-game road trip when they travel to Kirskville, Mo., to take on the Truman State University Bulldogs in Pershing Arena on Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 7:30 p.m. The Ichabods won the first meeting of the season between the two teams on Dec. 12 in Topeka 87-66.

The Washburn Ichabods (11-8, 5-7 MIAA) will look for for their fifth straight MIAA win as they will travel to St. Joseph, Mo., to face the Missouri Western State University Griffons. The Griffons (12-7, 7-5 MIAA) won the first meeting with the Ichabods on Dec. 28 in an 75-69 overtime win. The Ichabods are coming off a 78-62 win over Northwest Missouri while the Griffons were topped last time out 70-53 at Emporia State.

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- Washburn had its four-game  winning snapped at Missouri Western as the  Griffons topped the Ichabods 74-63 in the MWSU  Fieldhouse. Washburn will wrap up the brief  two-game road trip at Truman on Wednesday in  Kirksville before returning home to face Fort  Hays State on Feb. 6.

TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Ichabods won their second straight game tying the Turnpike Tussle series for Washburn largest margin of victory in a 73-42 win over Emporia State. The 31-point win tied Ichabod wins during the 1951-52 season (69-38) and during the 1998-99 season (83-52). Washburn improves to 9-8, 3-7 in the MIAA and will next be in action on Jan. 23 when they play host to Nebraska-Omaha at 7:30 p.m.
