TOPEKA -- The Washburn Athletic Department held its annual awards banquet on May 5 in the Washburn Room in the Memorial Union.

Kyle Snyder (men's basketball)
Corkey Stiger (women's basketball)
Diana Goldsmith (women's tennis)
Ryan Ward (men's tennis)
Tyler Blankenship (baseball)
Mandy Tarbutton (softball)
Note: the golf MVP will be determined at the end of the season based on the lowest stroke average

Named the Washburn athletic department's senior scholar athlete was Audrie Miller

Chuck Lower was named the Ichabod Person of the Year

Wes Joy, Dani White, Kate Hampson and Zach Watkins were all named True Blue Scholars by Capitol Federal Savings (pictured with Jack Hamilton-President of the Capitol Federal Foundation)


The Lady Blues senior student athlete went to Erica Cowhick (volleyball) and the Ichabod senior student athlete went to Jake Lebahn (football).
