Final AVCA Division II Coaches Poll

The Lady Blues volleyball team finished eighth in the final AVCA Division II Coaches Poll released this week after the national tournament wrapped up over the weekend. Washburn finished the season 33-5 and second in the MIAA at 16-4. The Lady Blues fell in the second round of the NCAA Tournament to eventual national runner-up West Texas A&M.

The Lady Blues were playing in their sixth straight NCAA tournament and seventh in the last eight years. Washburn has been ranked in 82 straight national polls and has been ranked in the top 10 in 36 of the last 40 polls.

The Lady Blues recorded their third straight 30-win season and fourth overall under Chris Herron.
