TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Lady Blues netters topped Truman 8-1 on Friday at the Kossover Tennis Center. Washburn will return to action on Saturday morning when they host Missouri Western at 10 a.m. on the Washburn campus.

The Lady Blues jumped out to a 3-0 lead after sweeping doubles play and then lost only 10 games in singles play as they rolled to an 8-1 win.
