Played in 13 sets and six matches as an outside hitter before injury kept her out the rest of the season … had one double-figure kill match with 10 on 08/25/07 against Palm Beach Atlantic and hit .474 with one error in 19 tries … played her final match of the year on 09/01/07 against Missouri-St. Louis.

As a Freshman in 2006
Played in 99 sets and 31 matches with 20 starts … came out of the match on 10/31/06 against Northwest Missouri with an injury and missed the final three matches of the year … finished the year with 271 kills and 2.74 per set … reached double-figure kills 12 times and had a season-high 22 against Pittsburg State on 09/13/06 … that total was the second highest single-match total for a Lady Blue that season … reached double figures three straight times starting with that match and averaged 4.31 kills per set then … hit a season-high .615 on 08/26/06 against Fort Valley State with eight kills in 13 attempts with no errors.

Rossville High School
A four-year starter and a 2006 graduate at Rossville High School for the Bulldogs, earning all-league honors her first three seasons, KVA all-state honors two seasons and was named to the Class 3A state tournament team her senior year … Rossville HS finished 37-3 and placed third at the state tournament in 2005 … Shepard set school single-season records with kills (387), kills per set (4.7) and aces (61) as a senior … was co-captain of her team her senior year … her team also finished third in state her junior year … Shepard was also a starter for the basketball and softball teams her last three seasons at Rossville.

Her twin sister, Arica Shepard, is a junior on the Emporia State volleyball team.
