At Washburn: Enters the fall as the starting “Z” wide receiver after starting 12 games as a sophomore … will also see time on special teams in the return game and coverage units.

In 2007: Started all 12 games at wide receiver recording 11 receptions for 190 yards and one touchdown which came against West Texas A&M in the NCAA Playoffs … his 51 receiving yards against WTAM was a personal single-game high … also had 10 tackles on special teams with three solo stops and seven assisted tackles … had one rush of 18 yards against Truman … averaged 17.3 yards per reception.

In 2006: Played in nine games with 11 rushing attempts for 64 yards  including a 23-yard run against Colorado Mines …?had six solo tackles on special team coverage units … was a three-time special teams player of the week.

Background: Redshirted his freshman season at Northern Iowa … recruited by Washburn out of high school … earned three letters each in basketball and football, two in track … rushed for a career school record 3,189 yards and 25 touchdowns … was a 2004 all-conference, all-district and all-state tailback … also holds school record for rushing yards in a season with 2,011 and in a single game with 382 … the latter being the eighth best rushing game in state history … a two-time all-district sprinter, 2004 all-sectional sprinter.
