At Cincinnati State Technical, she earned  all-region honors after finishing seventh in the nation in scoring averaging 22.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game … was rated as the 11th-best recruit in the nation by the All-Star Girls Report out of high school after leading Lynwood High School to a 28-3 record and a trip to the state semifinals for Coach Ellis Barfield as a junior where she averaged 19 points, eight rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocked shots per game for the Knights … she was an All-California Interscholastic Federation selection as a junior … led team to 33-0 record and No. 1 national ranking … a McDonald’s All-American out of high school at Lynnwood in Los Angeles, Calif., where she had eight rebounds, the fourth-highest at the time…
