• He played in 35 games with 28 starts as a second baseman and shortstop.
• He batted .262 with 28 hits in 107 at-bats. He drove in16 runs, scored 21 times and had a home run.
• After an 0-for-36 start to the season, he finished the year batting .394 (28 for 71).
• He got his first hit of the year on 04/08 against Fort Hays State and went 9 for 15 (.600) in the next five games. He hit his first home run during that streak on 04/13 against Northwest Missouri State.
• After those five games he went hitless in his next then went on a seven game hitting streak where he hit .429 (12 for 28).
• He had a .986 fielding percentage with two errors in 144 attempts.

• A 2007 graduate of Sacred Heart High School where he played baseball and football.
• He earned first team all-state and second team all-state all-class in football and was a Shrine Bowl participant his senior year.

Personal
Born on April 16, 1989 … parents are Jennifer and Don Simoneau … majoring in business management … also a sophomore quarterback on the Washburn football team. He started the final five games for the Ichabods and played in seven. He was a 48 percent passer, throwing 62 passes for 788 yards and five touchdowns.
