World-Wide Exposure
For the last two years, almost every football, volleyball and men's and women's basketball games have been broadcast live on the internet, giving fans, parents and alumni all around the world a chance to watch the action. This technology also gives Washburn's advertisers a chance to be seen not just from the stands, but from any computer in the world.
   
Along with the internet, the Lady Blues and Ichabods basketball teams were seen on regional television numerous times last year.
   
Live video isn't the only way Washburn Athletics is getting exposure. Local, regional and national media outlets cover the Ichabods and Lady Blues year-round and pictures and news video show up on tv, newspapers and on the internet, giving Washburn's advertisers an additional chance to be seen.
Be a Part of the Action
The Lady Blues and Ichabods have constantly been near the top of the nation in attendance in nearly every sport and every year over 115,000 fans attend the seven Washburn sports that keep figures. Washburn's fans have been treated to MIAA championships in football, volleyball, soccer, men's basketball, women's basketball, golf and men's tennis in the last four years. Additionally, Washburn has achieved national success with nine of the sports playing in the NCAA postseason within the last three years and the Lady Blues basketball team winning a national championship in 2004-05. The volleyball team hosted the NCAA Division II National Tournament and finished third. Over 4,000 fans took in that event.
